About the role
Maxus Aspen Development is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise construction activities at its destination development project in Mondulkiri, Cambodia. The role will involve close coordination with architects, consultants, contractors and internal teams, and may support future projects in other Cambodian locations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, BOQ and technical documents to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑control checks.
- Monitor progress against approved schedules and report issues, delays or risks to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with quantity take‑off, cost control, budgeting, variation works and contractor claims.
- Support value engineering and construction optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Participate in testing, inspection, snagging, handover and defect rectification activities.
