Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor ensures smooth execution of inventory, warehouse and fulfilment activities across various types of facilities, including CFS, CY, inland depots and bonded warehouses. Reporting within Maersk's Fulfilment & Logistics Operations Execution stream, the role balances operational oversight with the ability to adapt processes when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory handling and timely order fulfilment.
• Monitor and enforce standardized work routines, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve non‑routine issues and escalations.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements in all warehouse environments.
• Support administrative tasks and provide guidance to entry‑level staff and technicians.

Required profile

• Limited prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with a willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with supervisors and peers.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using operational tools and basic computer applications.
