Trade Development Executive – Home WiFi Sales

About the role

The Trade Development Executive will drive acquisition of new Home WiFi, AO WiFi and AO WiFi 5G customers for Cellcard. Working primarily in the field, you will generate leads, convert prospects, and ensure smooth hand‑over to technical teams for installation while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new residential and business customers through door‑to‑door visits, roadshows, events and field prospecting.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline, meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Conduct market surveys, competitor analysis and explore untapped areas to increase market penetration.
• Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, referrals and digital channels, converting qualified leads into active subscribers.
• Provide product information, address inquiries and coordinate with technical teams for timely installations.
• Complete customer registration, collect required documents and ensure accurate data for activation.
• Prepare and submit regular sales activity reports and market feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, ISP or FMCG.
• Strong field‑sales and closing abilities with good communication and persuasion skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work under pressure.
• Good time‑management and discipline for field work.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Home WiFi, Fiber internet and Fixed Wireless Broadband products.
• Awareness of telecom services and competitor offerings.
• Knowledge of the full sales process from lead generation to closing.
• Ability to maintain accurate customer records and produce sales reports.
