Technical Engineer

About the role

The Technical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a range of security‑related products. This role supports clients by ensuring that access control, door locking, parking barriers and other safety systems operate reliably and meet safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission security hardware such as access control panels, digital door locks, parking barriers, speed gates and turnstiles.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on fire alarm and loss‑prevention systems.
• Diagnose technical issues, provide on‑site support, and coordinate with vendors for parts replacement.
• Document service activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant electrical and electronic standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance and suggest product enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with security‑related hardware and electronic/electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical schematics and follow safety procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work regular office hours (Mon‑Fri 8 am‑5 pm, Sat 8 am‑12 pm).
