About the role
The Small Business Loan Trainee will support the loan processing team by reviewing loan applications, conducting credit investigations, and assisting with collateral verification. This entry‑level position offers exposure to micro‑business lending practices across Phnom Penh and provincial branches.
Key responsibilities
- Solicit potential and existing clients in line with micro‑business loan policies.
- Analyze financial statements to assess borrowers' repayment capacity.
- Receive, screen, and process loan applications.
- Conduct site visits to verify collateral security.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and refer issues to supervisors.
- Assist with registration of title deeds at local authorities and land offices.
Required profile
- Minimum high school graduation; undergraduate degree in a related field is a plus.
- One year of experience in sales or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to branch locations as required.
- Proficiency in English and Khmer.
