Sales Specialist – Logistics (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Specialist to drive new business and expand our client base within the freight forwarding and international logistics sector. The role focuses on acquiring Chinese‑speaking customers in Cambodia and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and develop new customers through cold calls, visits, networking and market research.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and convert qualified opportunities into revenue.
• Conduct frequent customer visits and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Understand logistics requirements and coordinate with Pricing and Operations to provide competitive quotations.
• Follow up on prospects, RFQs and quotations to maximise conversion rates.
• Manage and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities for additional volume and profit.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and target industries to uncover new sales opportunities.
• Achieve targets for new customer acquisition, revenue and gross profit.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition and proactive business development.
• Strong hunter mentality with a results‑driven approach.
• Good command of English; willingness to travel for customer visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
