Sales Executive – Steel & Cement

About the role

Tech Seng is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive the sales of steel, ceramic and cement products across its assigned regions in Cambodia. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts and ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality construction materials.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities through regular site visits.
• Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to project conversion.
• Monitor steel prices, prepare competitive quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams via the S&OP process to guarantee stock availability and on‑time delivery.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Build and nurture relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, architects and project owners.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and upcoming construction projects, providing regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in building materials, steel, cement or related construction products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to conduct market research and develop effective sales strategies.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of the Cambodian construction industry; familiarity with Phnom Penh and surrounding regions is a plus.
• Fluency in Khmer; working knowledge of English is beneficial.
