Innovation & Corporate Partnerships Manager

About the role

Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking a Manager to drive strategic direction and financial growth of its innovation path in Phnom Penh. The role focuses on generating new revenue through corporate partnership sales, managing a portfolio of accounts, and supporting investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle with corporate partners, from outreach to contract negotiation and execution.
• Define business strategy, conduct market research, and identify new sectors and potential partners.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, overseeing retention metrics and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Source pre‑seed to Series A startups, support investment diligence, and mentor startups on market entry and scaling.
• Directly lead a team, ensure operational excellence, and coordinate event production for demo days and investor events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MBA, Finance or equivalent) preferred with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years as a Senior Associate at Plug and Play, demonstrating strong sales and contract negotiation performance.
• Proven experience in due‑diligence, portfolio strategy, and closing high‑value, long‑cycle sales.
• Background in strategic consulting for innovation and technology, with executive‑level problem‑solving skills.
• Domain knowledge in technical verticals such as food & agriculture, deep‑tech, energy or smart‑city technologies relevant to the Mekong region.
