Relationship Manager - Chinese Speaker

About the role

The bank is seeking a proactive Relationship Manager who can speak Chinese to drive sales of its products and services. You will acquire new corporate clients, deepen existing relationships, and ensure a friendly, efficient banking experience that supports profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a profitable book of business through product volume and referral networks.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations by understanding client needs and the bank’s product suite.
• Prepare sales proposals, deliver presentations, and work with product partners to execute solutions.
• Participate in activities that build the customer base and enhance retention strategies.
• Monitor local competitors and develop plans to increase market share.
• Identify early signs of potential loss and take preventive actions.
• Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking or financial services with a strong sales track record.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, AML/CFT laws and corporate banking practices.
• Professional presentation skills and strong dedication to accuracy.
• Ability to use and communicate in Chinese is preferred.
