Project Officer - Rebuild Regreening Villages (RRV) Phase II

About the role

World Vision Cambodia is recruiting a Project Officer for its Rebuild Regreening Villages (RRV) Phase II project in Preah Vihear province. The post coordinates the project and represents it internally within the Cambodia office, ensuring smooth implementation of household biodigester systems that improve climate resilience and strengthen economic capacity. It is a local fixed-term position with a negotiable salary.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with AP teams, community development facilitators, finance and procurement units and implementing partners to deliver activities in target provinces
• Facilitate community awareness, capacity building and monitoring so that implementation meets project goals and donor requirements
• Build relationships with local authorities, community partners and development agencies, including the Provincial Departments of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Environment
• Ensure high-quality quarterly, semi-annual and annual monitoring and reporting
• Run needs assessments and train Biodigester Management Committees and households on biodigester operation, waste management and climate-smart agriculture
• Work with the biogas service provider and community-level partners such as agricultural cooperatives
• Manage the project budget, track household journal records and support donor reporting
• Identify monitoring and evaluation indicators and integrate them with the AP programme evaluation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy, rural development, environmental science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy (household biodigesters), agriculture, rural development, community engagement or green economy projects
