Project Director – Cambodia SuperPort

About the role

The Project Director will lead the urban planning, development and construction of the Cambodia SuperPort, overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept to hand‑over. This senior position ensures regulatory compliance, secures approvals and aligns the project with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct urban and master‑planning activities, from conceptual design through construction.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects and government authorities to obtain all necessary permits and approvals.
• Manage tenders, contracts, technical specifications, schedules, costing and budgeting.
• Resolve procurement and contractor performance disputes.
• Supervise procurement, contractor mobilisation and material sourcing.
• Monitor project milestones, quality, safety and budget constraints.
• Provide regular executive reports on status, costs and resource allocation.
• Facilitate the transition from construction to operational phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Master Planning, Urban Planning, Architecture or Urban Design.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in urban design, land‑use planning, zoning and large‑scale project management.
• Strong knowledge of local government regulations and approval processes.
• Fluent in English and Khmer, spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment.
