Owner Engineer Site Civil Inspector for 150 MW Wind Farm

About the role

AFRY is seeking an Owner Engineer Site Civil Inspector to oversee civil works on a 150 MW on‑shore wind farm in Cambodia. The role reports to the Owner’s Site Manager and OE Project Manager and lasts up to 18 months.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect civil construction performed by the EPC contractor, including hardstands, access roads, drainage and other infrastructure.
• Review and comment on method statements, work procedures and civil engineering shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards and quality requirements, reporting non‑conformities.
• Provide daily site reports and support monthly progress reporting for the Owner’s Engineer team.
• Coordinate with the Owner, OE team and EPC contractor to resolve technical issues on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in civil construction supervision or inspection, preferably on large infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and strong communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and quality control procedures.
• Ability to review method statements, shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience working on EPC construction projects and coordinating with contractors on‑site.
