PCI Security Officer

About the role

The PCI Security Officer will ensure the bank’s compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This role monitors, embeds, and updates PCI requirements across the organization to protect against data breaches.

Key responsibilities

• Stay current with PCI DSS updates and integrate new requirements into bank policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure PCI compliance throughout change preparation, implementation, and post‑change monitoring.
• Review and adjust policies, standards, and procedures to reflect PCI DSS changes.
• Conduct periodic evaluations to identify weaknesses and non‑compliance.
• Escalate any non‑compliance issues to line management promptly.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in information security; PCI security experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of information security best practices, risk management, and IT auditing processes.
• Excellent analytical abilities and effective verbal and written communication in English.
