Core Banking Technical Specialist

About the role

The Core Banking Technical Specialist will ensure the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the Flexcube Core Banking system. This role involves handling technical issues, coordinating with vendors, and supporting system upgrades and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for technical issues and follow up on vendor assistance.
• Maintain the system with the latest patches and updates.
• Address EOC issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Support system upgrades, new features, product testing, and apply fixes/patches.
• Keep incident and problem records for the IT & Risk department.
• Assist with third‑party integration and core banking infrastructure matters.
• Participate in Core Banking project implementations and advise business stakeholders on optimal processes aligned with Flexcube technical aspects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with the Flexcube Core Banking System.
• Understanding of day‑to‑day IT operations and business impact.
• Familiarity with external MOS and consultant practices.
• Awareness of both functional and technical aspects of Flexcube.
