Education and TVET Lead – USAID Cambodia Employ Project

About the role

The Education and TVET Lead will drive the development and implementation of innovative education and training programs for technical and vocational institutions across Cambodia. Working with the USAID Cambodia Employ project, the role focuses on integrating STEM and emerging sector skills into curricula to improve student employability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and rollout of education and training programs in partnership with TVET institutions.
• Establish collaborations with industry stakeholders to align curricula with labour market needs.
• Develop and deliver training for educators in new and emerging sectors.
• Promote credential and certification programs that meet industry standards.
• Evaluate curriculum and training impacts on student outcomes and employment readiness, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in technical and vocational education and training.
• Preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least ten years of professional experience, preferably within Cambodian TVET.
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, industry partners, and government agencies.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and evaluation skills.
