Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)

About the role

ICS International School is looking for an experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to partner with the CEO in steering the school’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and institutional growth. The Deputy CEO will provide executive oversight across academic, student, operational, financial, and marketing functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CEO in implementing strategic plans, priorities, and institutional goals.
• Monitor organizational performance, departmental KPIs, major projects, and key action plans.
• Oversee academic performance, curriculum implementation, assessment, and student achievement.
• Manage Student Affairs, Operations, Human Resources, Events, Finance, Tax, IT, and other support functions.
• Track student recruitment, enrollment, sales, marketing, branding, and communications performance.
• Coordinate directors and department heads to ensure effective execution of management decisions.
• Review major operational, financial, academic, and organizational matters and advise the CEO.
• Support governance, risk management, compliance, and Board decisions.
• Foster institutional partnerships, external relations, and growth opportunities.
• Act on behalf of the CEO when formally delegated.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including senior management or leadership roles.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple departments or organizational functions.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and support analysis.
