Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive commercial growth for Comin Khmere across the Cambodian market. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the heads of Power, Clean Energy, Trading and Service/Facilities, the role will identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities while positioning the company as the preferred M&E and EPC partner.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and develop new business opportunities across sectors such as commercial and residential construction, hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, industrial facilities, data centres and power & energy infrastructure.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasting and ensure timely progression of opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming developments, tenders, regulatory changes and competitor activities to uncover potential projects.
• Establish and nurture relationships with property developers, architects, consulting engineers, contractors and industrial clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Represent Comin Khmere at industry events, business forums and trade associations to strengthen market presence.
• Lead or support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering, estimating and project delivery teams.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end tendering and bidding process, ensuring accurate and competitive submissions within deadlines.
• Negotiate commercial terms with clients to secure profitable contracts.

Required profile

• Commercially minded professional with solid understanding of the Cambodian construction, infrastructure and energy landscape.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and convert them into sustainable revenue.
• Strong analytical mindset to track market trends and forecast sales.
