Bank Executive Trainee - Contact Centre

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Bank Executive Trainee to join our contact centre team. The role provides hands‑on experience handling customer and merchant inquiries across multiple channels while learning Maybank’s product portfolio and banking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, live chat and Facebook messages from customers and merchants.
• Assist merchants with hotline services, including settlement inquiries, POS terminal issues, e‑statement password resets and refund requests.
• Use the card management, merchant management and core banking systems to activate/deactivate cards, manage overseas flags and process transactions.
• Make outbound calls to promote Maybank products, campaigns and updates, and practice cross‑selling techniques.
• Refer customers for deposits, cards, insurance, loans, M2E, POS services to relevant branches or departments.
• Introduce and guide customers on Maybank Mobile Banking (M2U) features.
• Conduct proper KYC before processing requests and log all interactions in MIS reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or senior university student.
• Strong command of English.
• Energetic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• No prior experience required.
