Architect – Design & Project Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Architect to support the Assistant Manager in design development, technical documentation, and coordination of fit‑out and construction projects. The role ensures timely delivery while maintaining design quality and compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in concept development, space planning, and interior design proposals.
• Create 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Develop and update architectural and interior construction documentation.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
• Coordinate design requirements with technical and construction teams, including shop‑drawing reviews and as‑built documentation.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers on design and technical matters.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor fit‑out works, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Report site issues, delays, defects, and support defect rectification and project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in interior design, project coordination, construction or fit‑out.
• Experience in retail, shopping‑mall or similar environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of landlord provisions, tenancy handover requirements and facilities management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion and 3Ds Max.
• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
• Basic rendering and visualization abilities.
