Senior Tax Officer

About the role

The Senior Tax Officer will support daily tax operations for a brewery in Phnom Penh, ensuring compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and facilitating communication with tax authorities. This role combines documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to maintain accurate and timely tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Tax Supervisor in documenting and maintaining tax collection and operation processes.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax-related documents and reports in line with Cambodian tax laws.
• Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholder teams and the General Department of Taxation.
• Identify tax issues, propose solutions, monitor cases, and escalate critical matters to management.
• Prepare official correspondence and ensure all tax communications are accurate and properly recorded.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation of approved initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in taxation, accounting or finance.
• Proven knowledge of tax compliance requirements and preparation of tax returns.
• Familiarity with Cambodian tax laws and filing procedures (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
