Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services for the organization, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with specifications, and cost‑effective purchasing. This position works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customs agents to manage the full procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new markets and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms, and payment conditions for accuracy.
• Obtain supplier quotations, conduct quote analysis, and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and contract compliance.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue purchase orders, quotations, and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Document all procurement activities in line with retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipments and customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, customs procedures, and tax provisions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
