Project Team Leader – Maternal & Child Health & Global Health Security

About the role

We are seeking a Project Team Leader to strengthen community‑based surveillance and maternal & child health services in Preah Vihear province, Cambodia. The role will guide a multidisciplinary team through a nine‑month health‑system strengthening project that responds to the 2025 border displacement crisis and ongoing global health security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation and monitoring of community‑based surveillance and MCH activities across three target provinces.
• Coordinate with the National Maternal and Child Health Center, MoH Communicable Disease Control department and other partners to ensure technical alignment with MNCH and GHS standards.
• Manage project resources, budgets and reporting, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Supervise field staff, provide coaching, and ensure data quality and timely reporting.
• Facilitate community engagement, risk communication and capacity‑building for local health workers.

Required profile

• University degree in public health, medicine, nursing or a related health field.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing health projects, preferably in maternal & child health or disease surveillance.
• Proven experience working in emergency or post‑conflict settings.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Khmer is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
