Project Team Leader – Community Surveillance & Maternal & Child Health

About the role

The Project Team Leader will head a multidisciplinary team delivering community‑based surveillance and Maternal & Child Health (MCH) services in Preah Vihear province. The role focuses on restoring and strengthening health services disrupted by recent border crises, ensuring equitable access to essential care for vulnerable families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project officers and field staff to implement surveillance and MCH activities.
• Coordinate with the National Maternal and Child Health Center and the Communicable Disease Control department of the Ministry of Health.
• Monitor health indicators, track disease outbreaks, and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and procurement in line with donor requirements.
• Facilitate capacity‑building workshops for local health workers and community volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with global health security, MNCH, and One Health standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing health projects in low‑resource or emergency settings.
• Strong understanding of maternal, newborn, and child health services.
• Experience working with government health agencies and international NGOs.
• Fluency in English and Khmer.
