Project Officer – Maternal & Child Health and Global Health Security

About the role
World Vision is seeking a Project Officer to support a health‑system strengthening initiative that addresses maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and global health security (GHS) in three Cambodian provinces. The assignment runs for nine months starting April 2026 and focuses on restoring essential health services disrupted by recent border conflicts.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities with the Team Leader, Senior Project Manager, technical specialists and local partners including NMCHC, provincial health departments and health centres.
- Monitor and report on project outputs, ensuring timely delivery of MNCH and GHS interventions.
- Facilitate data collection, analysis and sharing with CDC and other technical partners.
- Support logistics for outreach activities in areas affected by unexploded ordnance and limited access.
- Assist in risk‑assessment and early‑detection activities for zoonotic and vector‑borne diseases.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating health‑related projects in low‑resource settings.
- Knowledge of maternal, newborn and child health services and global health security principles.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government health departments and international NGOs.
- Strong written and spoken English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
