Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement & Shipment Operator to support our purchasing and logistics activities in Phnom Penh. The role involves assisting the team in sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery and customs clearance of imported items.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis, and support management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases regularly.
• Handle issue resolution such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian tax and customs regulations.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering is advantageous.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
