Procurement & Customs Officer

About the role

The Procurement & Customs Officer supports the sourcing, purchasing and import processes for the company. You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments and customs authorities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new markets and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track deliveries and service performance.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases.
• Resolve issues such as defects, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and clearance activities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Knowledge of procurement in the power, energy or infrastructure sector is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, technical, customs and tax regulations.
• Excellent teamwork, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
