Laboratory Programs Manager

About the role

The Laboratory Programs Manager provides academic leadership for medical laboratory programs, ensuring high‑quality teaching, curriculum delivery, and safe laboratory operations. This role works closely with faculty, students, and support staff to advance the educational mission of the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate courses, competencies, and academic activities for medical laboratory programs.
• Support teaching delivery in collaboration with lecturers and academic staff.
• Schedule, monitor, and track teaching and learning activities.
• Lead curriculum review, course outline updates, and assessment documentation.
• Oversee internal quality assurance activities and student evaluation of teaching.
• Facilitate the use of learning technologies and academic systems such as UPERP.
• Assist the Dean with curriculum management, program documentation, and academic reporting.
• Manage examination processes, student records, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide oversight of laboratory readiness, equipment availability, safety compliance, and medical waste handling.
• Support student academic advising, clerkship coordination, and laboratory‑related student activities.
