Junior Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role
The Cybersecurity Pre‑Sales Engineer supports the sales cycle by providing technical expertise from discovery to solution hand‑over. You will work closely with customers to understand their security needs and design appropriate solutions that mitigate risks.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers to gather business, security, network and IT requirements.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, security assessments and identify gaps.
- Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, Bill of Quantities and statements of work.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations and Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) plans.
- Support RFP/RFQ/tender responses, create compliance matrices and perform competitive analysis.
- Build demonstration environments, install and configure solutions for POCs, and document results.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity vendors and partners, attend training and manage technical escalations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, presales or systems engineering.
- Proven ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
