Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager will support procurement, supplier coordination, and customs clearance activities for the maintenance department. This position ensures that goods and services are sourced, delivered, and documented in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare analysis, and support management approval.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update supplier and price databases regularly.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and contracts for departmental approval.
• Collaborate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
