Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to Maintenance Manager supports the procurement and logistics functions that keep the maintenance department running smoothly. You will work closely with suppliers, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses, and support management approvals.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track deliveries and service performance.
• Update supplier and price databases, ensuring accurate records.
• Resolve issues such as defects, damages, and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs.
• Familiarity with the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax and customs regulations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a multicultural environment.
