Urgent SHE Supervisor – Kompong Som (up to $1.2k)

About the role

The Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Supervisor will lead SHE programs for our operations, ensuring compliance with Cambodian regulations and internal standards. Based in Phnom Penh, the role requires regular coordination with teams in Kompong Som.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Implement, monitor, and update SHE procedures and policies.
• Prepare and submit reports and documentation for management and regulatory authorities.
• Organise and deliver SHE training and awareness sessions.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with management to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain SHE documentation, audit records, and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of SHE regulations, standards, and best practices, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective‑preventive actions.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective SHE training and communication materials.
• Excellent monitoring, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams.
• Organised, proactive problem‑solver with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience and familiarity with Cambodian labor and environmental laws (advantage).
• Willingness to travel between Phnom Penh and Kompong Som and work on‑site.
