Treasury Officer

About the role

The Treasury Officer supports daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, payment processing, and bank reconciliations. The role is pivotal for maintaining financial controls and compliance within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily petty‑cash activities, including opening, disbursement, replenishment and closing.
• Record all petty‑cash transactions promptly in the ERP system.
• Perform cash counts and reconcile physical cash with ERP records.
• Prepare and process payments for employee advances, reimbursements, and local/overseas suppliers.
• Review supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and proper approval.
• Clear trade payables to payment‑in‑transit accounts and monitor outstanding cheques.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and report variances.
• Post cash‑sales transactions and coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper tracking and documentation of all issued payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in treasury, accounting, cash management or payment processing.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or large corporate environments is a plus.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, cash management and bank reconciliation.
• Fluent in Khmer and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI and PowerPoint is an advantage.
