Trade Operation Officer

About the role

The Trade Operation Officer supports the processing of trade product transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role acts as a liaison between customers, internal departments and branches to deliver efficient trade services.

Key responsibilities

• Process trade product transactions and related documentation in line with policy, procedure and compliance requirements.
• File and maintain accurate records for each processed trade product.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide satisfactory service.
• Monitor daily reports, update status and track trade transaction progress.
• Draft and send SWIFT messages related to trade operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and branch offices to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, internal teams and branches regarding trade products.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant ICC rules and publications.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in trade operations, trade finance or a similar operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, self‑disciplined and capable of working independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Khmer and Chinese is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and handling SWIFT messages.
