About the role
STOOS Consulting is seeking experienced sectoral technical experts, trainers, facilitators and researchers to join its roster for humanitarian and development projects across Cambodia. The role involves providing expertise on a consultancy basis for assignments with UN agencies, NGOs, donors and other development partners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and training in various sectors such as monitoring & evaluation, research, data collection, gender and conflict analysis, market systems and economic empowerment.
- Participate in assessments, capacity‑building activities, third‑party monitoring and evaluation missions.
- Collaborate with UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, donors and local partners on project implementation.
- Prepare reports, analytical briefs and training materials tailored to client needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a sectoral expert, trainer or consultant in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong background in monitoring, evaluation, research, capacity building or related fields.
- Ability to work independently on short‑term consultancy assignments.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Khmer is an advantage.
Required skills
- Technical expertise in monitoring & evaluation, data collection, research methodologies, gender analysis, market systems analysis, or economic empowerment studies.
