Technical Architect

About the role

The Technical Architect will work on‑site full time in Phnom Penh, leading the design and implementation of technical solutions that meet business and project requirements. The role involves translating functional needs into architectural blueprints, managing technical risks, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define system architectures and evaluate technology options.
• Create detailed technical designs and documentation.
• Guide software development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Oversee integration between internal and external systems, including APIs and middleware.
• Review code and designs, mentor team members, and support continuous improvement of development practices.

Required profile

• Ability to design and govern robust Technical and Solution Architecture for complex systems.
• Hands‑on experience in software development with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency in system integration, APIs, middleware, and data exchange.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and alignment with organizational technology strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a focus on trade‑off assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an architect or senior engineering role leading end‑to‑end solution delivery.
