Tax Executive

About the role

The Tax Executive will lead the tax function for assigned entities, ensuring accurate compliance, reporting and audit support. Working closely with finance, accounting and operational teams, you will safeguard the organization against tax risks while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and annual tax declarations, reconcile tax balances with accounting records and address discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance obligations, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and recommend corrective actions for identified risks.
• Research tax legislation, draft ruling requests and technical correspondence, and provide recommendations to management.
• Produce tax reconciliations, schedules and reports, coordinating with finance to resolve reporting issues.
• Coordinate tax audits, analyse queries, prepare responses and supporting documentation, and advise on exposure mitigation.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, procurement and operational teams to gather information, answer tax inquiries and improve information flow.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous‑process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance procedures.
• Experience preparing tax returns, reconciliations and supporting audit activities.
• Ability to analyse tax implications of transactions and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and capacity to work across multiple departments.
• Proactive attitude toward process optimisation and team development.
