Supervisor, Business Intelligence

About the role

The Business Intelligence Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Phnom Penh, supporting a supermarket chain. The role focuses on collecting, validating and analysing data to drive strategic and operational decisions, while designing and maintaining BI dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, validation and analysis across finance, operations, marketing and customer service.
• Design, build and maintain interactive BI dashboards and regular performance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators and translate insights into actionable recommendations for management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand information needs and develop analytical models.
• Supervise BI initiatives, improve data quality, and support projects that enhance efficiency and profitability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on practical recommendations.
• Effective communication skills for presenting insights and preparing concise management reports.
• Foundational finance knowledge, including budgeting, revenue and cost analysis in a retail context.
• Understanding of customer service principles to incorporate feedback into BI insights.
• Project‑management capability to plan, organise and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with BI and data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Relevant experience in retail or FMCG sectors.
