Store Development Manager

About the role

The Store Development Manager drives the company’s store expansion strategy, overseeing site acquisition, leasing, project execution, construction compliance and facility management to ensure new stores and renovations are delivered on time, within budget and to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the store expansion pipeline, identify and secure new locations based on feasibility assessments, and present proposals to management.
• Lead leasing activities, negotiate commercial terms, manage landlord relationships and ensure lease compliance.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, conduct financial evaluations, monitor expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Oversee end‑to‑end construction, renovation and fit‑out projects, ensuring compliance with group policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs, manage service providers and ensure facilities meet health, safety and operational standards.
• Drive CAPEX optimization initiatives, standardise store design and procurement processes, and report savings against budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, real estate, facilities management, business administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in retail, F&B or commercial store development, including leasing, project management and construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within budget and schedule.
