Sourcing Director, Outerwear

About the role

Quince is seeking a Sourcing Director for its outerwear category to lead global vendor relationships and shape the supply chain strategy. Reporting to the VP of Apparel Sourcing, this senior position will drive sourcing excellence within a direct‑to‑consumer model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end supply chain and sourcing strategy for outerwear, including multi‑sourcing to ensure resilience.
• Onboard and coach new manufacturing partners on Quince’s direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) and manufacturer‑to‑consumer (M2C) processes.
• Educate partners on the Quince Operating System, covering operational excellence, rapid lead times, and financial modeling.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sourcing plans with product development and inventory replenishment.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in apparel or outerwear sourcing and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of direct‑to‑consumer supply chains and rapid replenishment models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives across global manufacturing partners.
