Senior Risk Officer

About the role

The Senior Risk Officer will support the Risk Manager in ensuring that the company's processes, policies, and controls align with business strategy and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Risk Manager in reviewing processes, policies, guidelines, and SOPs for alignment with business strategy and governance.
• Help maintain and update the Risk Control Register/Risk Register Framework, set tolerance levels and escalation thresholds.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to enable timely response and risk prevention.
• Validate Risk-Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for core business processes.
• Review Loss Event Data (LED), analyse root causes and provide recommendations.
• Conduct random operational transaction checks to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Review work and results produced by team members.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Risk Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance or pursuing ACCA.
• 1‑2 years experience in external or internal audit or risk management.
• Knowledge of risk identification, assessment and control frameworks.
• Honest, highly committed, flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with travel to provinces.
• Fluent in written and spoken Khmer and English; Chinese is a plus.
