Senior Relationship Manager, SME Lending

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager, SME Lending will drive the acquisition and retention of small‑and‑medium‑enterprise (SME) loan customers. You will act as the primary point of contact, structuring deals and ensuring a high‑quality loan portfolio while supporting the bank’s growth in the Cambodian market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new loan customers through proactive outreach, networking and prospecting programs.
• Structure, negotiate and close loan deals from initiation to completion.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing SME clients.
• Monitor portfolio quality, detect early signs of credit deterioration and intervene as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client service.
• Work with stakeholders to improve processes or policies where gaps exist.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Management, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales or customer‑facing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer.
• Good knowledge of SME sectors and the business environment in Cambodia.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and travel without constraint.
