Senior Relationship Management Officer

About the role

The Senior Relationship Management Officer will work full‑time on site in Phnom Penh, managing and growing a portfolio of business and SME customers for Sathapana Bank. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate, business and SME clients.
• Analyse client needs, creditworthiness and financial performance.
• Prepare and present customised financial proposals.
• Monitor account performance and ensure high service standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product offerings and support credit assessments.
• Assist in budgeting and program management for relationship targets.
• Conduct regular client visits, handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Contribute to business development initiatives to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills for portfolio and credit assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Solid understanding of banking products, lending principles and SME/commercial banking.
• Experience in program management and budgeting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in relationship management or corporate/SME banking, preferably in a commercial bank.
• Customer‑focused, detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in banking software and MS Office; fluency in English and local language is beneficial.
