Senior Regulation Related Auditor

About the role

The Senior Regulation Related Auditor will lead audit activities at the Head Office, ensuring compliance with banking laws, taxation, and labor regulations. This position reports to the Manager of the Regulation Related Audit Unit and plays a key role in developing audit programs and coaching the audit team.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and draft reports for relevant divisions and departments at the Head Office.
• Review audit findings, testing results, and follow up on recommendation implementation.
• Assist the audit manager in updating audit programs and workpapers.
• Evaluate staff competency, provide feedback, and train auditors on policies, ethics, and responsibilities.
• Promote continuous self‑development in knowledge, communication, leadership, and audit challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field; CIA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of auditing experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, taxation law, and labor law.
• Demonstrated integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and professional work ethic.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Internet research and basic computer literacy.
• Khmer typing ability.
