Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the procurement function by exploring new markets, reviewing specifications, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring markets for new sources of goods and services.
• Assist in reviewing specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Seek supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service compliance.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases regularly.
• Resolve issues such as defective or damaged goods and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, technical requirements, and Cambodian tax provisions.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge (asset).
