Senior Merchant Payment Support Officer

About the role

The Senior Merchant Payment Support Officer ensures that merchant data is accurately captured, maintained, and reported across the bank’s branches. This role supports branch operations, resolves disputes, and drives continuous improvement of merchant services to enhance efficiency and reduce operational errors.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and update merchant requests in the Merchant Management System, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Maintain high data quality for reporting to managers and related teams.
• Provide branch support for system usage, dispute handling, and sustainable solution delivery.
• Coordinate printing and distribution of KHQR materials to all branches and clients.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving, faster, and error‑reducing improvements to merchant services.
• Create and update documentation and training materials for the Merchant Service program.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year in banking or financial services.
• Proactive attitude, strong teamwork, and willingness to travel across the branch network.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, responsibility, and accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities.
