Senior Manager, System Development (Frontend)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the design, development and maintenance of high‑performance mobile frontend applications (iOS and Android) for our banking platform. The role combines technical leadership with close collaboration with business analysis, security, and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse mobile system requirements together with the IT Business Analysis team and propose impact‑driven solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) frontend applications.
• Plan and coordinate the development team following Agile Scrum methodology, covering all environments from Development to Production.
• Perform regular troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting on application performance and security compliance.
• Provide technical training, knowledge sharing, and support to other teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of native mobile frontend development experience and at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in FinTech or banking.
• Familiarity with loan and savings product functionalities.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Swift programming languages.
• Integration with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Data formats: CSV, XML, JSON.
• SQL and DML, relational and non‑relational databases.
• Containerised platforms, micro‑services architecture.
• Object‑oriented concepts, design patterns, and application frameworks.
• Distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).
• DevOps CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps and automated testing (unit, UI, integration).
