Senior IT Officer – Chinese Speaking

About the role

The Senior IT Officer (Chinese Speaking) will join the Phnom Penh branch of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of the branch’s IT environment while supporting daily operations and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and core applications to guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Manage user accounts, perform backups, apply patches, and enforce security policies.
• Provide first‑line technical support to branch staff, diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with regional and head‑office IT teams for system implementations, upgrades, and incident resolution.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and compliance evidence in line with internal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong IT foundation with hands‑on experience in banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and good command of English; Khmer is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a compliance‑focused environment.
