Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join P.S.V.T Group in Phnom Penh to lead internal audit engagements across financial and operational processes. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document internal audit engagements covering financial and operational areas.
• Review and test internal controls, perform risk assessments, and analyse financial data.
• Prepare clear, detailed audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to discuss findings, support remediation plans, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools.
• Mentor junior auditors and share best practices.
• Provide management with insights to strengthen governance and risk management.

Required profile

• Strong experience in audit reporting and financial audits, including planning, execution, and documentation.
• Solid analytical skills and finance knowledge to identify risks and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Demonstrated senior‑level experience in internal auditing or related financial control roles.
• High integrity, ethical judgment, and alignment with the company’s core values.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in an on‑site environment.
