Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead the planning, execution, and follow‑up of internal audit activities across multiple departments, including warehousing & transport, finance, payroll, and manufacturing. The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, promotes integrity, and reduces operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit plans based on approved checklists and risk‑based priorities.
• Conduct fieldwork, interviews, and testing to verify adherence to policies and procedures.
• Document findings with supporting evidence, classify issues, and report them accurately.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve findings, monitor corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain audit documentation, reports, and evidence in line with internal standards.
• Participate in internal risk assessments and recommend improvements to audit methodology.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on internal control culture and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of internal audit frameworks and risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Experience auditing core functions such as warehousing, finance, payroll, and production.
• Ability to analyse audit data, identify root causes, and track remediation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
