Senior Executive of IT Audit

About the role

The Senior Executive of IT Audit will lead and support audit engagements across the organization, ensuring that IT systems, applications, and processes meet internal control standards. This role reports to senior management and collaborates closely with IT and business units to identify risks and recommend improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning IT audit assignments, defining scope and objectives for each audit.
• Conduct fieldwork in line with the Annual Audit Plan and internal audit methodology.
• Review IT systems, applications, and processes to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.
• Identify control weaknesses and IT‑related risks, proposing practical remediation recommendations.
• Review IT management policies and procedures, including change management, disaster recovery, and information security.
• Prepare audit working papers and support the drafting of IT audit reports.
• Execute any additional duties or ad‑hoc assignments as directed by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, IT risk, or related areas; experience in financial institutions or regulated environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of IT controls, systems, and information security.
• Ability to independently plan, perform audit testing and clearly document results.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and audit working‑paper requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Khmer and English.
• High integrity, attention to detail and professional ethics.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
